3 things to look out for when Arsenal visit Bournemouth
2. A lot of injuries, who will step up?
Arsenal has seen the injuries pile up the last two weekends. The Gunners could be without Thomas Partey, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli on Saturday.
On one side, that is bad to have multiple midfield and attacking players out. The problem with this Arsenal side last season was the depth. While it still may be a problem in the defence, Arsenal should have enough in the midfield and attack to overcome the Cherries if this is a title-challenging side.
It was refreshing to see Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson play a pivotal role in the League Cup victory at Brentford. The Gunners will need them in this contest if they are to come away with the victory. Jorginho will probably be slotted in the midfield with Fabio Vieira or Kai Havertz.
Last time out in the Premier League against Spurs, the Italian made the pivotal mistake that cost the Gunners three points. Martin Odegaard will need help in the midfield, the cover of Rice and Partey because he was overrun against Spurs. Depth was an issue last year and could already be a problem this year if Arsenal don’t come away with three points on Saturday
