2. Goalkeeper situation

I’m not sure how Aaron Ramsdale would have fared in Sunday’s contest, but Raya looked unsure of the decisions he made in the match. I know it’s hard to criticise a clean sheet against the treble winners, but there were nervous moments with Raya in goal.

The almost fatal clearance that nearly ended up in the back of Arsenal’s net definitely stands out.

Raya was forthcoming on set pieces at times to grasp the City volleys, and it seems as if Arteta is set to have the summer arrival as his number one from here on out as Ramsdale has not been in goal since the Carabao Cup win at Brentford.

Raya also did not fare well against Lens last week. It will be interesting to see how Arteta makes his decisions moving forward and if Raya’s inconsistent play costs the Gunners as it did in France.
