3 Arsenal players who must improve after the international break
By Kian Long
Arsenal have had a good start to the season. Across all competitions, they are yet to lose a single game. In fact, they've even had some great wins against Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.
Throughout this turbulent start to the season, Arsenal have seen some incredible uprising within their squad. Certain players, even some fresh faces, have put in great shifts for Arsenal so far.
That said, there have also been some players who are struggling for form. So, for those players, the October international break might have come at the right time.
Alas, here are 3 Arsenal players who must hope to return to form after the current October international break.
3 Arsenal players who must improve after the international break
1. Jakub Kiwior
Jakub Kiwior is one Arsenal player who has struggled at the start of this season. This might be through no fault of his own, since he has been cast aside due to the amount of great defenders at Arsenal currently.
He was afforded some minutes in the UEFA Champions League. This was a result of the Jurrien Timber injury scare, which gave him a full half against Paris Saint-Germain.
Jakub Kiwior should hope to build on this momentum after the October international break. He essentially has no choice, as he's already in last-chance-saloon as it is.
2. Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus is yet to find his first goal of the season. The Brazil international had a positive pre-season but unfortunately, this very rarely transpires into competitive form.
In some ways, this is not Gabriel Jesus' fault. He might be a centre forward, but the way he plays goes far beyond simply goal-scoring. In fact, there are still some believers that Jesus offers more to the front-line than Kai Havertz, despite the difference in goal-scoring.
However, there's a reason why Mikel Arteta prefers Kai Havertz over Gabriel Jesus. The former Man City man must hope for a miracle after the international break.
3. Ben White
Ben White will hope for a positive return from the international break but for a different reason to the first two players.
The English full-back is out of the starting lineup, due to an injury concern. So, he will hope to push himself back up Mikel Arteta's rankings in the upcoming matches.
That said, Mikel Arteta does face a nice selection crisis. In Ben White's absence, Jurrien Timber has played brilliantly.
