3 reasons why Arsenal don't need to sign both Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres

Some fans want Arsenal to sign both strikers this summer, but that might create problems in other areas

A Sesko/Gyokeres double deal sounds good on paper, but why not push for one of the great wingers on the market instead?

Our primary targets – Nico Williams and Rodrygo – could bolster the attack just as much as a striker double up but with added benefits; Williams can operate on either flank while Rodrygo has played at LW and CF for Real Madrid.

For similar money to what RB Leipzig and Sporting CP want combined, Arsenal could also pair one of Sesko or Gyokeres with a striker backup who simultaneously fills the wide void (Rodrygo) or someone who could offer a rotation choice on both wings (Williams).

The result? Arteta would still have his sharpshooter up top but with more firepower right across the frontline, rather than having it all concentrated in one position (and leaving the rest of it to sit idly on the bench).

Two strikers only add to our attacking headache; one striker and one winger could add the finishing touch to a near six-year-long project.

It is a no-brainer.
