Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 victory away to Preston in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with several players putting in brilliant performances.
The Gunners will now face Crystal Palace at the Emirates with a semi-final place at stake.
Gabriel Jesus put the Gunners in front before a stunner from Ethan Nwaneri doubled their advantage to put them two to the good at half-time. Substitute Kai Havertz put the stamp on victory as he netted his side's third with a well-placed header midway through the second half.
In a game where Arsenal cruised to a win, there were three standout performers at Deepdale.
1. Ethan Nwaneri
Given just the second start of his senior Arsenal career, Ethan Nwaneri made the most of it with another brilliant performance.
The Hale End graduate looked raring to go from kick-off as he combined well with his teammates. Nwaneri scored the Gunners' second as he picked up the ball outside the box before curling a fine effort into the top corner.
It was an outstanding showing from the youngster, in which he boasted a pass accuracy of 98%. Nwaneri was replaced by debutant Ayden Heaven in the 80th minute after putting in a performance that has certainly put his name forward for future appearances.
