Arsenal fell to a 2-1 defeat at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night with a 3-1 aggregate loss seeing them knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals.
The Gunners travelled to Paris needing a win and while they started the game well, it was PSG who struck first with Fabian Ruiz finding the back of the net with a thunderous effort. David Raya kept his side's hopes alive with a second-half penalty save, but Achraf Hakimi put the Parisians on the brink shortly after. Star winger Bukayo Saka managed to pull a goal back, but it wasn't enough to kickstart a historic comeback.
Mikel Arteta's side certainly went down fighting in Paris and while there were faults to be found within their performance, there were three players that stood out in the defeat.
1. Bukayo Saka

Having struggled to have an impact in last week's first leg, Bukayo Saka made amends with a troubling performance down the right flank at the Parc des Princes.
The winger caused plenty of problems for Nuno Mendes and pounced on the opportunities to put a number of threatening crosses into the PSG penalty area, but was unfortunate to see no one get on the end.
Saka came so close to being his side's hero when he pulled a goal back with 15 minutes to play by taking the ball round Gianluigi Donnarumma before tapping into an empty net. He then missed a clear chance to make it 2-2 on the night when he blazed over from yards out, something he will certainly be ruing now.
While he wasn't on the winning side, Saka can take plenty from his performance in the second leg and played a huge part in his side keeping themselves in the tie throughout.
