Arsenal host Manchester City on Sunday afternoon in a huge game that will certainly have an impact on their title hopes.
The Gunners won 2-1 at Girona in their last outing, a result that secured them a spot in the Champions League round of 16. Jorginho and Ethan Nwaneri both scored to complete a first-half comeback. Their last Premier League game saw them pick up a 1-0 win away to Wolves, courtesy of a Riccardo Calafiori winner.
As Arsenal looks to keep up with league leaders Liverpool once again, there are three key talking points ahead of their huge clash with a Man City side that have struggled this season.
1. Feud will keep bubbling
The last meeting between these two sides was certainly a feisty affair and that is likely to be replicated on Sunday. City snatched a point in the 97th minute to draw 2-2 with an Arsenal side that had been sent down to ten men following a controversial second yellow card for Leandro Trossard.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta insisted he has moved on from the result and his spat with Erling Haaland but the players may feel otherwise.
The likes of Gabriel Magalhaes and Leandro Trossard will have points to prove after being heavily involved in the previous game's controversy. There is no doubt the players will be out for revenge against City and the feud will continue to bubble on Saturday.
