Arsenal shift their focus back to the Premier League action as they host Manchester City in what is set to be a dramatic showdown this afternoon.

The Gunners come into the game in winning form, having secured victories in their last two outings. A 3-0 league win at home to Nottingham Forest was followed up by a midweek 2-0 triumph at Athletic Bilbao to start their Champions League campaign in perfect fashion.

As both sides look to put the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table, there are three key talking points ahead of this afternoon's huge meeting.

The Gunners are yet to beat City to the Premier League title and despite both sides missing out on the crown last year, this contest remains high-stakes. Both sides will be desperate to keep up with and challenge the champions Liverpool this season, but will have to get the better of one another to do so. The first chance to do so comes today.
