2. Saliba returns to defence

Having been taken off just five minutes into the defeat to Liverpool and subsequently missing Arsenal's last two games, William Saliba could make his return to the Gunners' starting XI against City.

Cristhian Mosquera has been a brilliant stand-in for the Frenchman and has impressed plenty despite still being a raw young centre back at just 21 years of age. While he has been practically flawless, Arteta may have to make the decision to bring his superior back into defence today.

Saliba's ability and experience will be crucial in dealing with the threat that is the City attack and his formidable partnership with Gabriel should be a huge factor in Arsenal taking something from this game.
