Arsenal travel to face Wolves on Saturday afternoon as they look to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
The Gunners beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in their last outing to all but secure their qualification for the Champions League knockout stage. Declan Rice opened the scoring early on with a fine finish before second-half goals from Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard capped off a good display. In their last league game, however, Arsenal dropped points as they let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa.
Having fallen six points behind league leaders Liverpool, Arsenal are in desperate need of wins to keep themselves in the title race. Wolves are another hurdle, and there are three key talking points ahead of their trip to face the West Midlands side.
1. Set pieces will be key
Arsenal's threat from set pieces has continued to show this season, having scored ten goals from dead ball situations so far. Wolves on the other hand, have been the worst at defending them, conceding 17 times from set pieces.
With that in mind, set pieces will prove to be key for the Gunners in their matchup with Wolves on Saturday. They must be looking to exploit their opponents with dead balls likely to be what unlocks the West Midlands side's defence.
The Gunners haven't netted from a set piece situation since a 3-1 win at Brentford on New Years' Day but they still pose a huge threat considering teams have gone all out to defend them. Wolves' set piece vulnerability has not improved under new boss Vitor Pereira, having conceded in their latest defeat so the chance for Arsenal to exploit it, despite their own recent dead ball issues, remains highly possible.
