3. Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United)

If Rodrygo is too costly, then this deal probably is as well.
The Athletic reported last week that Arsenal “like” Anthony Gordon and would be interested in talks for his services – a blend of speed, finishing and top-class dribbling with a tall frame (6ft) making him appeal to the Gunners hierarchy.
Of course, we witnessed it all first-hand from Gordon in the Carabao Cup semi-finals (where he scored twice) and caught a glimpse of his other, off-the-ball qualities; his constant running and willingness to press are sure to have impressed the boss.
Newcastle claimed a top-five spot and, therefore, do not have any financial reasons to sell him. But it seems Arsenal at least have Gordon on their radar and, if Sesko scratches the offensive itch this summer, we could hold off on the marquee wide signing until next year.
This club does love to wait, after all.
