Arsenal have ended the 2024/25 season without a trophy and while that does make a disappointing conclusion to what was expected to be a successful year, they managed to produce some memorable moments throughout.

From a confident academy graduate and free kick heroics to a makeshift striker firing in goals and being set piece specialists, the Gunners weren't short of iconic and somewhat unexpected spectacles during their campaign.

Their performances in the Premier League weren't always top tier and their domestic cup results were not up to par, but their efforts to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League have to be applauded with some of their best moments coming during their continental showings.

With no silverware, it wasn't the ideal season for Arsenal, but there were still some bright sparks among their valiant efforts. Here are four 'streets won't forget' moments from the Gunners' 2024/25 campaign.

Perhaps the best individual moment of Arsenal's season came in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final when Declan Rice, who had never scored a free kick in his career, decided to net two deadball screamers.

Nearing the hour mark and tied at 0-0 with competition holders Real Madrid, Rice stepped up nearly 30 yards from goal and curled a sublime effort around the wall to beat Thibaut Courtois. It sent him, his teammates and the fans into raptures as they celebrated what was a simply unbelievable moment of individual brilliance.

If doing it once wasn't good enough, Rice had to go and do it again. Just 12 minutes later, he set himself, now a bit closer to goal, and found the top corner with perfect precision. His second strike was equally as good, if not better, than his first.

Declan Rice is a quality footballer and one of the best midfielders in the world, but for him to come up with two spectacular free kicks in a game that his side had practically been written off in was a moment of complete individual brilliance. The phrase 'bend it like Rice' echoed around social media as if he was one of the greatest dead ball specialists of all time, but let's be honest, he's never scoring another free kick in his career, is he?
