4. Viktor Gyokeres
Okay now we're getting into the more ambitious and unrealistic options but they must be discussed. Viktor Gyokeres has long been linked with a move to Arsenal and the January transfer window could see the club finally make the move... so long as they're willing to break the bank.
Gyokeres' incredible ability can not be disputed considering he has scored 74 goals in 79 appearances since the start of the 2023/24 season. 31 of those have come in this campaign. The Swede did not have the greatest audition for the Gunners, being pocketed by William Saliba in Arsenal's 5-1 victory at Sporting in November last year, but that won't have put the club off.
The Swedish international would be a brilliant signing for the club but his €100m release clause may prove to be too much for Arsenal to afford this month. If Mikel Arteta can convince his hierarchy to provide him with the funds then by all means, target him, but it is hard to see any business being done with Gyokeres potentially available for less than his clause this summer.
