Bukayo Saka (RW) - 9/10 - It's hard to believe there's anybody left who didn't know it already, but Saka is the one player Arsenal can ill afford to be without. His return lifted teammates and fans, while putting a scare into the opposition. Liverpool's fear was justified once Saka began tormenting Andy Robertson and Alexis MacAllister, scoring a gem of a goal courtesy of that little something extra Arsenal's wing wizard always seem to provide.
Kai Havertz (ST) - 4/10 - This game will be a teaching tool for those who don't think Havertz playing striker will help Arsenal win a title. All the drawbacks of a midfielder operating further forward were obvious. Havertz was hesitant moving in the box to meet crosses and often made the wrong runs in space to deny Arsenal an obvious outlet.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 6/10 -Six will likely be seen as a harsh rating for Martinelli, but the modest score was no fault of his own. Arsenal simply didn't feed the Brazilian enough, even though his straight-line pace and direct appetite for goal clearly unnerved Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konate.
An opportunity missed for both Martinelli and Arsenal.
