Arsenal fans won't want to think about the event just yet, but Leandro Trossard has outlined his new retirement plan. It could even benefit Arsenal.
Leandro Trossard arrived at Arsenal midway through the 2022/23 season. He was a backup option, signed only when the deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk fell through. It's fair to say, though, Arsenal got the better player in the end.
He hasn't always been a sure starter, but Leandro Trossard has shown a keen eagerness to dictate matches from the bench. He has scored a plethora of important goals for Arsenal, showing how he can change the outcome of a game.
Well, Leandro Trossard has gotten quite the kick out of game-changing, so much so that he would like to do it even when he retires.

Speaking to the press while on international duty with Belgium, Leandro Trossard confirmed his aspirations to coach after retirement. He has already completed his A-license certificate, allowing him to coach.
Leandro Trossard elaborated, claiming that he enjoys the on-field side of coaching but at this stage, he finds the theory side of the game overwhelming.
He also claimed that he would be an attacking manager (no surprises), having taken inspiration from the many great coaches he's played under.
Arsenal have a proven track record of welcoming their former players back for coaching role. The likes of Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere and even Mikel Arteta have all benefited from this in recent years.
Therefore, depending on what happens over the next few years, there could be a role reserved for Leandro Trossard.
It is certainly no surprise that Trossard is considering his route into coaching. He seems like one of those players who loves everything about football, even when he isn't playing.
He is an intelligent player, constantly finding pockets of space and knowing when to exploit them. So, he would be great at bringing the best out of his players in coaching situations.
