Arsenal are fully centred on their Premier League title charge, but it won't be long before all focus shifts to the Champions League final. The Gunners are on their way to the league title, needing to win just two games to end their long wait for another Premier League crown, and they could yet win a famous double.

The Gunners have their Champions League final with PSG on May 30 to consider, and they already know they will have to beat what is likely the best team in world football to win their first Champions League title. The biggest questions ahead of the game, is whether Ben White will be fit, and if Jurrien Timber can be the deputy Mikel Arteta will need him to be.

Ben White suffers concerning blow

White picked up an injury during the hard-fought win over West Ham, and there is now serious doubt over his participation for the rest of the season, the Champions League final and, of course, this summer's World Cup.

Speaking after the West Ham game, Arteta said: "We don't know, but he doesn't look good at all, so he needs some further testing tomorrow probably and I know a bit more."

The potential injury is much more significant because whoever plays on the right for Arsenal is going to have to stop a player who is arguably the best in the world in his position right now, which is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian has torn apart even the best defences in Europe, and so the last thing Arsenal want is to go into that Champions League final with a makeshift option. But they might have to, and it will likely be Timber who plays in the absence of White.

Timber has proven himself a strong deputy at full-back, playing on both sides, but whether he has the ability to stop Kvaratskhelia is another question, and that's if he is even fit enough to play.

Timber has been struggling with an ankle injury of late, and his own participation will be in doubt. And even if he does play, Arteta would want Timber to get a run of games under his belt before the final, which is something he may not get.

Having a fit, ready and in rhythm Timber is going to be absolutely vital for Arsenal in the final, and if Arteta doesn't have that, he will likely have to employ a truly makeshift option to fill the gap.
