Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The Gunners have identified the Brazil international as a prominent potential candidate in a move to bolster their attack this summer, but the interest is at an early stage with no guarantee the interest materialises.
Vinícius' deal with the Spanish giants only runs until the end of the season and that could be a boost in any potential transfer, but it's nothing serious just yet for Mikel Arteta's side.

Ornstein reported that while Arsenal are in the process of exploring a deal, there have been no club-to-club talks at this point, but the idea of signing Vinícius Júnior has approval at all levels within the club.
The forward is now into the last 12 months of his Real Madrid contract and given his brilliance, his current side do not want to risk losing him on a free. However, there has not been a breakthrough in negotiations yet.
Vinícius first joined Los Blancos from Flamengo in 2018 and has evolved into one of the best attackers in world football and a crucial asset to the club.
He has scored 128 goals and provided 100 assists in 375 appearances for Real Madrid and has extensive silverware to show for it. Since his move from his home nation of Brazil, he has won three La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues, one Copa del Rey, three Supercopa de Españas, two UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, and the inaugural FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
However, the 2025/26 season was not a successful one for the club. Vinícius contributed 22 goals in all competitions, but his side finished the campaign trophyless for the second consecutive year as they missed out on the La Liga title to Barcelona.
Vinícius also showed his brilliance during the World Cup, scoring four goals in five games for Brazil on their run to the round of 16, where they were knocked out by Norway in a shock 2-1 defeat.
Arsenal fans will be very excited to see such a player linked with the club at a time where there is a clear desire to improve their attack, particularly the left side, even after confirming the signing of Christos Tzolis earlier this week.
Having missed out on signing Morgan Rogers, Vinícius would be a great alternative, but Ornstein stated, the deal has yet to materialise and there is no guarantee that it will.
