Jurriën Timber could be set to make his return from injury sooner than initially expected and Arsenal fans will be thrilled to hear the news.
The Netherlands international has been absent since mid-March and has failed to make an appearance in the two months since, hindering his chances of returning before the end of the season and putting him at risk of missing the World Cup.
However, there is now a possibility he could make his come back before the campaign concludes, but there is no absolute guarantee he will return to action.

When asked about Timber's fitness in his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta said: "He wanted to be very close to the team. He's progressed a little bit in the last few days.
"We're going to try to get him fit and available as quickly as possible, but let’s see. He's been out for a while, unfortunately. He's such an important player for us.
"We all know that and he's doing everything he can to help the team in any capacity. We know his leadership, his quality and how much the team needs him."
While it's not the great news of an instant return Arsenal fans had hoped for, it's certainly a positive and something to get excited about, especially after another player was ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Ben White is expected to miss the rest of the campaign after picking up a knee injury in the win at West Ham. That leaves the Gunners without any right back options going into the last two league games and the Champions League final.
However, the potential return of Timber would balance it out as he would provide quality on the right side of defence. Despite that, there would be danger in rushing him back to fitness, or getting him back as quickly as possible as Arteta said.
He has struggled with injuries amid his great runs of form since joining the Gunners and the last thing they'd want to do is worsen the situation by bringing him back soon and causing another big injury. It's unlikely the physio team would allow that, but it must be kept in mind.
There is no denying Timber would be a great asset for the final games of the season. It's unlikely he'd come back for the clash with Burnley, or even the final day trip to Crystal Palace, but if he can be fit for at least the Champions League final, that would be absolutely huge for Arteta and Arsenal.
