One Newcastle fumble already this summer won't stop Arsenal. Even after the Alexander Isak debacle, the Gunners are eyeing his teammate, Anthony Gordon.

Arsenal means business this summer. With Andre Berta holding the BBQ tongs for a change, the Gunners have been treated to a busy summer so far.

In a manner which is completely unlike this club, we're signing players for hefty fees and what's even better is the action is happening early in the window.

With Cristhian Mosquera, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi already in the books, the Gunners aren't resting. Viktor Gyokeres is expected to be the next announcement.

But it won't end at Gyokeres.

Arsenal eyes Rodrygo, Anthony Gordon and Eberechi Eze

According to a CaughtOffside report from Charles Watts, Arsenal is still targeting another attacking player. They've narrowed their search down to three players: Rodrygo Goes, Eberechi Eze, and Anthony Gordon.

Those three attacking options are not news to Arsenal fans. In fact, they've been linked to those three players for what feels like a lifetime.

Admittedly, it is surprising that the Gunners are still actively seeking a new attacking addition, even with Viktor Gyokeres as good as signed.

All three players have differing skill sets, so Mikel Arteta is in a dilemma about which player to pick. All would be welcomed fits at the Gunners, but one is more surprising than the rest.

Arsenal won't let Newcastle United rest after Alexander Isak

Newcastle United has already proven difficult to negotiate with. It was for this reason that Arsenal missed out on his signature and could watch him sign for Premier League favourites Liverpool.

Nevertheless, this seemingly isn't stopping Andrea Berta from hitting Newcastle's line. If anything, it may have given the Gunners extra inspiration to get a Newcastle player over the line.

Anthony Gordon is a Premier League-proven winger who specialises on the left-wing. While it might seem like an outdated trait to be EPL proven, nobody can deny that it gives fans that extra bit of reassurance.

So, the natural tendency would be to lean towards Gordon. He's done it in the Premier League and the Champions League, and would be an easy upgrade over Gabriel Martinelli.

He's arguably a more realistic signing than Rodrygo too, which certainly plays into it. Rodrygo is the wildcard option, Gordon is the dream option and Eze is the fine option.
