Arsenal have floored fans with the highly-anticipated confirmation of the signing of striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting.
The Sweden international joins the Gunners for a reported fee of €63.5million, plus €10m in add-ons and has put pen to paper on a five year deal, keeping him in north London until at least 2030.
Gyokeres signs for Arsenal after a lengthy saga that had fans both excited and concerned over the possibility of a deal being struck. However, those fears have now been eradicated now that he has officially joined the Gunners.

Arsenal had held a strong interest in Gyokeres for some time and he was initially one of two striker options heading into the summer. After talks over Benjamin Sesko stalled, the Gunners fully turned their attention to the Swede a few weeks ago when they entered advanced talks.
These negotiations dragged on however, with Sporting haggling over the terms of the deal, specifically the add-ons. Arsenal finally struck gold when they reached a full agreement earlier this week.
Gyokeres underwent his Gunners medical on Saturday after flying to London to finalise the move a day prior.
He joins Arsenal from Portuguese champions Sporting, with whom he spent two very successful seasons. Throughout his time in Lisbon, he evolved into one of Europe's most prolific and deadly goalscorers, netting 97 times in 102 appearances.
Despite the dominance of compatriot Alexander Isak, Gyokeres has become a reliable player for his national side, scoring 15 goals in 26 caps for Sweden.
The Swede was linked with multiple clubs throughout the summer, but he always made his desire to join Arsenal instead of any other side clear. His agents are even reported to have waived their fees and Gyokeres even offered to pay part of the add-ons to seal the move.
As previously reported, Gyokeres is set to wear the iconic number 14 shirt for the Gunners, made famous by the club's record goalscorer Thierry Henry. He will be looking to continue the legacy set by the Frenchman.
Gyokeres is now set to fly to Singapore to join up with his new teammates for Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia.
