2026 has been an emphatic year for Arsenal Women. They were rightly crowned champions of the Champions Cup, beating Corinthians in the final to become the first ever winners.

They also made it to the semifinals of the Champions League, but they will unfortunately surrender the title they won last season after being eliminated by Lyon. Nevertheless, Arsenal remain the pinnacle of women's football and an example of how a club should be run.

Last season saw their debut season in the Emirates Stadium, where every home WSL game would be played in exactly the same stadium as the Premier League. Deservedly so, that has been extended for the second season in a row.

Arsenal Women return home to the Emirates Stadium

Today, Arsenal confirmed that 13 WSL games will be played at the Emirates Stadium next season. UEFA Champions League and domestic cup games will be played at Meadow Park.

Arsenal's head coach Renée Slegers said "We’re so excited to return to the Emirates. This season, we’ve again experienced the incredible connection between the club and our supporters. Their passion, energy and unwavering support continues to inspire us to keep pushing forward."

"We’re proud of the progress we continue to make together, and we look forward to building on that momentum next season.”

This says everything about Arsenal as a club

Arsenal is a club that has long championed women's football. Historically, Arsenal Women has to be considered one of the biggest teams to ever grace the pitch. While they have welcomed healthy competition in the women's game since their most dominant days, Arsenal continue to invest resources to elevate the women's game and the experience of fans.

The messaging is simple and doesn't even need to be said. Arsenal is one club, and it has one home. Families exist under one roof, after all.

The atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium has been incredible this season. From tifos to murals, you really do get the sense that fans will be there to support the players until the very end. That, thankfully (but deservedly) will bleed into next season.

Next season, Arsenal have plenty to fight for. They will, of course, want to win back their Champions League trophy after missing out this time around, but they will also have their eyes on winning their first league title since 2019.

All to play for, and there's no better place than home.
