Most, if not all Arsenal fans would agree that Renée Slegers has been more than just a blessing for the club.

At a time when no one expected them to win a whole lot due to the season they were having under Jonas Eidevall last year, Slegers came in and, quite literally, changed Arsenal fans' lives.

They were not able to win the league and end Chelsea's dominance in England, but they did end Barcelona's dominance on a European scale, incredibly winning the Champions League.

There is one thing about Arsenal that has not been talked about much since Slegers took over, and that is their goalscoring.

Arsenal Women are scoring goals for fun

It has never been like this before. Arsenal have always scored goals, but not like this. In just 36 games under Slegers, her team has scored 102 goals.

That is simply astonishing. That averages to about three goals per game, and those goals have won them quite a few matches where all hope seemed to be lost.

Against Real Madrid, even, they were 2-0 down after a disappointing first leg. However, in the second at the Emirates, Arsenal locked in and scored three in the second half alone.

There is just that free-flowing nature of this team that helps them score so many goals, and that is what has been getting them ever so close to winning trophies under Slegers.

Similarly, against Lyon in the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, Arsenal scored four away goals and came back from behind to reach the final of the competition. It is just astonishing to see what they are able to do when the going gets tough.

Arsenal have the ability to really dig in and score goals when they really need them, and that is what separates them from the others. They don't get scared anymore.

They don't back down without a fight. They don't sit for one goal advantages. If they see an opportunity, they will go for it regardless of the scoreline.

Even this season, they have scored four goals or above in two of their three games. The only game they didn't score at least four was the game where they did not score at all, and to be very honest, Slegers should really be proud of what she is making at Arsenal at the moment.

To quote the legendary Thierry Henry, she really is cooking, and everyone in the world can see it first hand. Even Barcelona.
