Arsenal will be back in action soon, don't worry. The international break is almost over. Mikel Arteta's team made a near-perfect start to the season, winning seven out of seven only to crash right back down to earth with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Brighton right before the international break.

So, before Mikel Arteta's team return to action against Leeds on 10 October, we've ranked all 25 players who have featured for Arsenal across all competitions this season.

25) Ife Ibrahim

Ife Ibrahim made just his second Arsenal appearance off the bench at Ipswich, enjoying a five minute cameo, which would have been a special moment, but it's hard to judge him, considering he touched the ball only eight times.

24) Kepa Arrizabalaga

It is very clear that Kepa Arrizabalaga will not challenge David Raya to be number one, conceding two of the three shots on target he has faced.

23) Theo Julienne

Theo Julienne was introduced for his Arsenal debut in the Carabao Cup, coming on for a decent 26 minute cameo at Portman Road, acquitting himself well.

22) Viktor Gyökeres

Viktor Gyökeres has started against both Napoli and Ipswich, looking very out of sync with his teammates, far from staking a claim for more minutes.

21) Marli Salmon

Marli Salmon started the EFL Cup tie and looked competent, suggesting he will get more opportunities.

20) Noni Madueke

Noni Madueke has very infrequently featured in the Premier League this season and, in his appearances in other competitions, has not looked up to the standard Arteta requires.

19) Piero Hincapié

Given the performances of Arsenal's other left-back, who we'll come on to later in this list, Piero Hincapié has seen his minutes limited, starting only once, but he will be a key player.

18) Eberechi Eze

Fans are hoping that Eberechi Eze can make the left-winger spot his own, but he has yet to show he is capable of doing just that.

17) Martín Zubimendi

Martín Zubimendi is yet to nail down a regular starting spot, coming off the bench in every Premier League game, seemingly the man to have been squeezed out of Arteta's first-choice lineup, but will have an important role to play.

16) Mikel Merino

Mikel Merino continues to be, well, Mikel Merino. Slot him into any situation and any position he will perform impressively, hence why he has a massive part to play this season.

15) Jurriën Timber

Starting for the first time since 14 March at Brighton, Jurriën Timber looked unsurprisingly a bit rusty. We all know his quality, and the fact Timber started at centre-back for Netherlands against Greece on Thursday, lasting 78 minutes, should be a good sign of his improving fitness.

14) Max Dowman

Max Dowman was absolutely dazzling against Ipswich in the EFL Cup, scoring twice, showcasing his immense natural talent. Still only 16 years old, he is seriously pushing for greater involvement.

13) Bruno Guimarães

Bruno Guimarães very much announced himself to the Arsenal fans by scoring that sublime strike to break the deadlock against Sunderland. It is clear however that the Brazilian needs time to adapt to his new team mates.

12) Cristhian Mosquera

Cristhian Mosquera was actually very unlucky to suffer an injury at Villa Park, given that he had performed well up until that point. The 22 year old may have thereby lost his place as first-choice, but remains a massive talent who will see plenty of minutes when he returns.

11) Christos Tzolis

Christos Tzolis has had ups and down in the early weeks of his Arsenal career, looking unstoppable at times, but lost in others. Let's hope the hamstring injury he suffered in Thessaloniki is not too serious.

10) Ezri Konsa

There has been very little discussion about the impact of William Saliba absence, which is full credit to Ezri Konsa, who has seamlessly slotted into Arteta's team, justifying the fee paid to sign him.

9) Myles Lewis-Skelly

Had it not been for widespread outcry, Myles Lewis-Skelly may well have been sold this season. The 20 year old thereby remained, and is making himself indispensable in midfield, the highlight of his campaign thus far this assist in Cardiff. The England international was then left on the bench in Brighton, and perhaps was only fully appreciated when he was not on the pitch.

8) Bukayo Saka

Despite many criticising Bukayo Saka so far this season, he has already scored three goals, and is consistently Arsenal's most-dangerous attacker. It is probably harsh to only have Saka as low as eighth on this list, but is further down due to the high standards we hold him to.

7) Ben White

When Benjamin White went off injured at the London Stadium in May, many were speculating his Arsenal career was finished. On the contrary, we have seen something of a return to peak 2023/24 White, offering so much going forward, while solid defensively too.

6) Riccardo Calafiori

Italy's failure to qualify for the World Cup has done wonders for Riccardo Calafiori. Following an entire summer break, the 24 year old has looked excellent, inarguably among the best left-backs on the planet right now.

5) Kai Havertz

Having scored three times already this season, we've seen the best of Kai Havertz. The entire team flows immeasurably better when the German was leads the line, the win over Chelsea the prime example of this, but keeping him fit remains the biggest challenge.

4) Gabriel

In Saliba's absence, Gabriel has really stepped up and continues to be a colossus at the back, regardless of who his partner is.

3) Declan Rice

Declan Rice has rightly been given a breather during this international break, having played more minutes than anyone else in world football last season, and might remain the Gunners' most integral outfield player.

2) David Raya

If David Raya is not considered the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, what more does he have to do? The Spaniard starred at Sunderland, spectacularly saving Enzo Le Fée's spot-kick, on course for a record-breaking fourth successive golden glove.

1) Martin Ødegaard

Arsenal's player of the season so far has to be Martin Ødegaard. Scoring four times already, the club captain is back to his best, perhaps even better than he ever was, so if Artera can keep him at this level, this team will be hard to stop.
