Arsenal are relaxed about their attempts to sign Viktor Gyokeres following his recent clashes with current club Sporting, according to Sky Sports News.
The Gunners have been in talks with the Portuguese side for a lengthy period, but are yet to find an agreement. Sporting are holding out for a deal worth around £68million with add-ons, while Mikel Arteta's side have a price in mind
Having been allowed a delayed return, Gyokeres was due to come back to training on 12 July, but he refused to show up and that has caused a dispute between himself and Sporting. The Swede is set to face disciplinary proceedings for his actions.
Despite the clash, Arsenal feel it has nothing to do with them and remain relaxed in their hopes of securing the striker's signature.

Arsenal intend to remain disciplined in their approach for Gyokeres and have a price in mind. They have been in advanced talks with Sporting since last Sunday, but are still yet to agree on a fee.
Numerous reports have claimed there is a gap in valuation between the two clubs, but neither side are yet to fold in negotiations.
There is no question over Gyokeres' desire for a move to the Emirates as he has made a transfer an absolute priority and has even offered to put over £1m of his wages towards the fee to help a deal materialise.
His hopes to join Arsenal are likely what have prompted his avoidance of training with Sporting. He has made it very clear he wants to leave the club and is likely protesting so his current side agree to sell him on.
It's not likely Sporting will fold though. Club president Frederico Varandas has made it clear Gyokeres will stay in Lisbon if the Gunners aren't willing to meet their demands.
Arsenal have a right to feel relaxed about the current situation as it is down to the player himself if he attends training with his current side. However, this dispute should prompt them to strike a deal with Sporting. Neither side are willing to fold, but it could become a case of who blinks first in negotiations and that may have to be the Gunners.
With pre-season and the new campaign edging closer and closer, Arsenal simply can not afford to let this deal collapse. They want Gyokeres and Gyokeres wants them. Just pay the money.
