Arsenal remain interested in signing young Blackburn Rovers striker Igor Tyjon, according to a report by Simon Collings of the Sun.
The Gunners have been monitoring the youngster for a lengthy time, having explored a move for him in the summer transfer window, but despite making a number of approaches, a move never materialised.
Tyjon remains on the north London side's radar as they look to bolster their academy sides and a successful move looks likelier than ever.

Arsenal are said to have had multiple bids of over £1million for Tyjon rejected by Blackburn amid their interest in the summer with the former Premier League champions keen on keeping hold of their young star.
However, Valérien Ismaël's side are currently at risk of losing the star for nothing with his scholarship terms set to expire at the end of the season. Rovers did offer him a professional contract, doing so repeatedly over recent months, but constant rejections have forced them to accept he will likely leave the club.
That means this month is their last opportunity to receive a fee for Tyjon before he departs once the campaign comes to a close. The Gunners could look to take advantage of that and finally make a successful move for the striker.
The pursuit of Tyjon comes as part of Arsenal's ongoing hunt for a new academy striker. Following the departure of Chido Obi-Martin to Manchester United in 2024, Per Mertesacker has led the charge to look for a new goalscoring machine to bolster his youth sides.
The Gunners almost hijacked a move for Will Wright in the summer, who looked destined to be heading to Hale End from Salford City, but original suitors Liverpool eventually secured his signature.
Andre Harriman-Annous has played well for the academy so far this season, even earning himself two appearances for the first team, but he is need of support in attack with Tyjon now looking the most likely option for Arsenal.
With his departure from Blackburn now seeming likely, Mertesacker and Co. should be confident they can secure the services of Tyjon as they look to continue strengthening the academy that has provided the senior side with so many talents over the years.
