Arsenal's alternate option to Vinicius Jr could be his own Real Madrid teammate

Arsenal have been rumored to be interested in signing Vinícius Jr from Real Madrid this summer.

Obviously, it is a very, very difficult operation to complete, and it is obvious that the player's priority is to stay at Real Madrid. Real Madrid's priority is also to make sure that he stays at the club.

However, there are still many differences between the contract extension offer that Real Madrid have sent to Vinícius Júnior and the demands that Vinícius Júnior has for this extension. It is the entire reason this saga has dragged into the last year of the Brazilian's contract. It looks like they haven't really made any progress on a possible extension.

A renewal for Vinícius Júnior at Real Madrid is still the more likely option at the moment. The player loves the club too much, and the club have shown many times how important he is to them as well.

So let's just take that out of the picture. Let's assume that he will extend at Real Madrid.

The funny part is there is still another Real Madrid player that could well work for Arsenal, and he might just be available as well.

Endrick is a brilliant option for Arsenal, but it would involve difficult conversations with a few players

Endrick is one of the most talented football players on planet Earth at the moment. He has not been able to play as much for Real Madrid, but he has shown in the past how devastatingly good he is, and can be, if he gets regular playing time.

For example, at Lyon, Endrick played a lot of games and had many important goals and assists for the club. Even though there were a few raw elements to his game, the fact of the matter is he was still very, very young and could develop into the type of player that any club would want to have in their roster.

The thing with him is that he is a left-footed striker who can play on the right wing. Arsenal are well covered on the right wing with Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke. Endrick, at this moment, is better than Noni Madueke. The other player is not worth discussing, because everyone knows the starting spot in that position is Saka's.

Be that as it may, Endrick is still a striker at the end of the day, and he absolutely has more potential than Viktor Gyökeres up top. He's more explosive, a better dribbler, quicker, more chaotic, and more involved than the Swedish striker has been for Arsenal this season so far.

Which begs the question: what if Arsenal actually try and sign him?

Real Madrid have just signed a very young striker after Gonzalo García's exit in Carlos Espí, which means they now have three strikers in the squad, with Kylian Mbappé and Endrick being the other two.

If Mbappé is the first choice and Espí is the player they've brought in for crossing situations in tough moments of games when they're not winning, that leaves Endrick as the third choice because he's not tall enough to be that aerial presence inside the box that Real Madrid need.

If Real Madrid want to sign Rodri, they will obviously have to sell or loan someone out this season so that Rodri can come in if or when his deal is eventually done.

Endrick, playing with Mbappé and seeing Espí come into the squad, will obviously not be feeling great about his chances at Real Madrid. If he wants to leave, Arsenal must go for him at any cost.

Yes, Arsenal have many strikers. They have Gyokeres and Kai Havertz and the others up top. But Endrick's potential is unlike anything most people have seen before, and having him as an option, or even as a starter, is going to be great for Arsenal.

In a few years' time, Endrick could easily become one of the best strikers in world football, and it will come down to whichever club was willing to take a chance on him when Real Madrid were not.

It is still not confirmed whether he would actually leave the club, but from what it looks like, according to fans and some journalists, he might. If that is the case, Arsenal have to try and sign one of the best young stars in world football.
