Can Arsenal pick up three more priceless points in the Premier League title race? Following back-to-back defeats, the Gunners got back on track last weekend; Eberechi Eze's screamer ultimately enough to overcome Newcastle. Since then, Mikel Arteta's team have been to Madrid and back, earning a 1-1 draw during the first leg of their Champions League semi-final with Atlético.
Coming in-between two massive European ties, Saturday's must-win clash with Fulham is never likely to be straight-forward, but history suggests the Gunners will collect the result they require.
Arsenal's head-to-head record vs Fulham in home matches
- Matches Played:Â 33.
- Arsenal Wins: 26. Draws: 7. Fulham Wins: Zero.
- Arsenal Goals Scored: 81. Fulham Goals Scored: 31.
To date, Fulham have played 33 away matches at Arsenal and never won, dating back to the club's first-ever encounter in Woolwich in 1904. Thus, the Gunners' undefeated home record vs the Cottagers is the most occasions any club in English football history has ever hosted another without ever tasting defeat.
Of course, simply avoiding defeat on Saturday evening is not an option for Arteta's team. The Whites have caused Arsenal problems in recent times, drawing two of their last four visits to the Emirates, as well as beating them 2-1 at Craven Cottage on New Year's Eve 2023, a result that would essentially cost them the title five months down the line.
With Manchester City not in action until Monday night, making a maiden pilgrimage to Bramley-Moore Dock to take on Everton, Arsenal must pile the pressure on by moving six points clear at the top, even if the Sky Blues would still have two games in hand. For all the talk of goal difference, just get the points on the board.
This record against Fulham though got us thinking, who else have Arsenal hosted numerous times without ever losing? Well, the list is not as long as one might imagine.
Opponents Arsenal have hosted 4+ times without losing
Opponents | Last meeting | Times hosted | Arsenal wins |

Grimsby Town | 2001 | 13 | 11 |
Reading | 2016 | 6 | 6 |
PSV Eindhoven | 2025 | 6 | 3 |
Plymouth Argyle | 2009 | 5 | 5 |
Oxford United | 2003 | 5 | 4 |
FC Porto | 2024 | 4 | 4 |
Barnsley | 1997 | 4 | 4 |
Panathinaikos | 2004 | 4 | 3 |
Rotherham United | 2003 | 4 | 3 |
AC Milan | 2018 | 4 | 2 |
The data shows that Fulham are, by an enormous distance, the opposition Arsenal have played host to the most times without tasting defeat. The Cottagers' 33 visits without victory is 20 more than anyone else. Second on the list Grimsby Town most-recently met the Gunners a quarter of a century ago, with that the duo's only clash for 78 years.
Reading, Plymouth, Oxford United, Barnsley and Rotherham are the only other English clubs to make it on to the list. While that may sound like Spurs' fixture list next season, Arsenal continue to battle for the biggest prizes this sport has on offer. The Emirates will be rocking on Tuesday night when Simeone's side come to town but, before then, they cannot afford a slip-up against Fulham.
