Arsenal face competition for Julian Alvarez
Now that Arsenal have not paid over the odds for Rogers, they could use this money to buy Alvarez. However, they will face competition from Barcelona for his services.
Alvarez's future at Atletico Madrid has been a long-standing transfer saga. He reportedly favors a move to Barcelona, but keeps on being linked with Arsenal. There was talk that Arsenal could pay £50 million plus Viktor Gyokeres for Alvarez.

Fábio Vieira impressed on loan at Hamburger SV last season. The Bundesliga side now wants to take him permanently.
