Arsenal transfers 2026: Every summer signing, departure and deal so far

Arsenal have had a relatively quiet transfer window, but they were not expected to complete as many deals as their rivals, having just won the Premier League with a young squad.

At this point, Arsenal have signed four players, as well as allowing four players to leave the club. So, overall, the squad balance has remained around the same.

The most notable signing Arsenal has made in the summer window has been Bruno Guimarães, and the most notable player they've waved goodbye to is Leandro Trossard.

Every Arsenal signing in the 2026 summer transfer window

Arsenal kicked off the transfer window with the activity everybody expected. They made their deal for Piero Hincapié permanent, with the former Bayer Leverkusen defender impressing in his loan season.

They then signed a player nobody expected before the window opened, that being Illan Meslier from Leeds United. The goalkeeper with Premier League experience joins the club for free, and he's expected to provide backup to David Raya, with Kepa Arrizabalaga potentially leaving.

After the Leandro Trossard blow had settled, Arsenal immediately replaced him with another hidden gem in the transfer window, Christos Tzolis. The £34m signing from Club Brugge will operate on the left wing, having already provided two assists against Man City in the Community Shield.

Then came Arsenal's statement signing of the summer, with Bruno Guimarães arriving from Newcastle United. At just £75m, he could easily be the signing of the summer, considering how much other midfielders are going for.

Every Arsenal departure in the 2026 summer transfer window

The most significant departure is the guy who won Arsenal the Premier League trophy, Leandro Trossard. With a significant upgrade expected at left wing, the Gunners accepted a £15.3m offer from Besiktas for his sale. He is written into Arsenal folklore for eternity and, without a doubt, he achieved more at Arsenal than anyone expected when he signed.

Jakub Kiwior bid farewell to an underwhelming time at Arsenal. The Poland international was originally signed to bulletproof the defensive depth for many years to come, but the Gunners soon learned he was not good enough.

Christian Nørgaard left the club after just one season. The former Championship play-off winner with Brentford added a Premier League medal to his cabinet before joining Everton. Nobody can turn their nose up at that career.

Finally, Karl Hein also left the club after never truly getting a run-out in the goalkeeper position. He joins Werder Bremen permanently after spending last season there on loan.

How much have Arsenal spent on transfers this summer?

Arsenal have spent £143.5m on incomings so far this summer, not including add-ons or contracts. From departures, they have generated around £39.6m, converted to pounds from their original currency and not including any add-ons or clauses.

Which players could Arsenal still sign?

The primary position of need, many would argue, is a new right-sided centre back. Cristhian Mosquera is more than comfortable to cover William Saliba's injury, but depth is paramount. Arsenal's preferred signing is Ezri Konsa, but failing that, Jarrell Quansah is also in the fray.

Furthermore, Arsenal would still like to strengthen their attack. Julian Alvarez is the best option for the centre forward role, but Victor Osimhen's name has been doing the rounds lately, too.

Depending on what happens with Gabriel Martinelli, a new left-wing addition could join Christos Tzolis. Kenan Yıldız is the most realistic option here.

Which Arsenal players could still leave?

Many, actually.

Gabriel Jesus faces walking the plank. Much like Leandro Trossard, he is a departure that will leave a lump in Arsenal fans' throats. He was one of those players who transformed the culture of the club, but he is injured far too often.

Reiss Nelson's future is likely to be sorted. As great as he is, the competition for places is simply too much. Arsenal cannot keep sending him out on loan; for his own sake, he should be sold.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is another option who seems bound to leave. With Illan Meslier signed and a pretty pathetic showing from the former Chelsea goalkeeper in pre-season, Arsenal should hope to sell Kepa before the transfer window closes.

Fábio Vieira is, somehow, still at Arsenal. As one of the worst signings under Mikel Arteta, he will surely leave before it's too late this summer.

Ethan Nwaneri would be a far less popular sale, given how much the Arsenal fanbase adores him, but he could represent the marquee sale that the Arsenal board are looking to make this summer.
