Arsenal face off against Newcastle for a fourth time this season, and their first win over the Magpies in 2024/25 will seal a top-five finish for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's side have dragged themselves into the fight for a Champions League spot but require just a point from their remaining two games to all but secure their place in Europe's premier club competition for next season.
Their pursuit of continental glory this term somewhat compromised their domestic form over the spring, with the Gunners struggling to must any sort of title challenge. After they were knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, Arteta would've been pleased with how his side responded to falling two goals behind at Liverpool last weekend.
However, Newcastle have developed into Arsenal's bogey team and another victory in this fixture for the Magpies will see them leapfrog Arteta's men in the table. Eddie Howe's side took a big leap towards Champions League qualification by beating Chelsea 2-0 last weekend, and they're aiming to cap off what's been an incredible season.
Newcastle beat Arsenal home and away on their way to Carabao Cup glory earlier this year.

Arsenal team news
Mikel Merino is suspended after receiving two yellow cards in last week's draw at Anfield, but the Gunners have received several injury boosts ahead of Newcastle's visit.
Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jorginho have all returned to training, while Leandro Trossard was also involved after picking up a knock against Liverpool. With Merino out, the Belgian will likely start up top for the hosts on Sunday.
Jurrien Timber will be assessed ahead of the game, but it won't be a surprise if he misses out again. Ben White is likely to retain his place and Havertz could make his first appearance since February.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Newcastle: Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.
Newcastle team news
Howe has confirmed that Kieran Trippier won't be available this weekend, and said Sven Botman is a doubt to feature. The Dutchman, who started in Newcastle's suprise back three last weekend, hasn't sustained a serious injury and could be available.
Joelinton remains out of action and the Newcastle boss suggested the Brazilian midfield may be preserved for pre-season, but former Gunner Joe Willock has a chance of being involved.
The visitors are likely to revert to a back four on Sunday, with Howe's system potentially depending on Botman's availability. They're still without Lewis Hall at left-back, while Jamaal Lascelles was back on the Magpies' bench for the first time this season last Sunday.
Predicted Newcastle lineup vs Arsenal: Pope; Krafth, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Tonali, Willock, Guimaraes; Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
Arsenal vs Newcastle score prediction
Newcastle have been a pesky opponent this season, but I refuse to believe Arsenal will go four games against the Magpies without a win.
Arteta's set to be boosted by injury returns this weekend, and the Gunners rarely go out with a whimper on home soil. They've lost just one of their previous 27 final home league games of the season, and will be keen to put on a show for supporters to atone for what's been a disappointing campaign.
Newcastle still have something to play for, but they know that last week's win all but secured their place in the Champions League. They'll wrap things up on the final day, but a triumph for Arsenal here will confirm their status ahead of their trip to Southampton.
