Gunners, it's finally match day! Following on from the turbulent (but thoroughly deserved) win against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal, Arsenal now play hosts to PSG in the semifinal 1st leg.
As a brief reminder about how to watch Arsenal vs PSG, the game will be live-streamed on Amazon Prime Video in the UK and Ireland, and in the USA, it will be streamed on Paramount+.
The game will be played at the Emirates Stadium, with Mikel Arteta urging the fans to lace up their boots and act as the 12th man on the pitch. Without a doubt, the stadium will provide a great atmosphere.
Arsenal hasn't had it easy on their route to the semifinal and indeed, they haven't been given an easy pass to the final either. PSG is one of the most in-form teams in Europe, so Arsenal needs a good day at the office tonight.
This post will provide all of the live Champions League semifinal updates, scores and fan reactions from Arsenal vs PSG. COYG!
Arsenal vs PSG live updates in the Champions League semifinal
Second Half (Full time score: Arsenal 0-1 PSG)
Full time. Well, a stale performance from Arsenal, who now head into the away leg NEEDING a win at any cost. Stay tuned for our player ratings and other post-match analyses, there was plenty lacking that needs addressing, after all...
90+5 mins. Donnarumma goes to ground and wins a foul to prevent a promising Arsenal corner. Pretty much a summary of the game, and it's probably now over.
90+3 mins. Martinelli wastes another opportunity. Completely sliced the chance.
90 mins. An underwhelming performance from the skipper Odegaard tonight. Didn't contribute anything of note, really.
90 mins. Ethan Nwaneri comes on for Arsenal to replace Martin Odegaard.
89 mins. Warren Zaire-Emery comes on for PSG to replace Joao Neves.
88 mins. More of a hit and hope from Declan Rice over the free kick but unfortunately, it doesn't fall to anyone in the tightly contested PSG box.
87 mins. Martinelli wins a free kick from a promising position.
85 mins. Goncalo Ramos was through on goal, unmarked, but he hits the crossbar.
84 mins. Substitute Barcola really should have scored, but he gives Arsenal a let off by pushing the ball a whisker wide. Should have been 0-2.
83 mins. Timber has been playing through a knock. He managed to stay on for longer than first anticipated. Hopefully, it's nothing too serious.
83 mins. Ben White comes on for Arsenal to replace Jurrien Timber.
78 mins. A mishap from the back sees Joao Neves take a shot at goal. Thankfully, he went for too much power and not enough placement.
76 mins. Goncalo Ramos comes on for PSG to replace Desire Doue.
74 mins. Optimistic attempt from Kvaratskhelia to catch Raya off his line, from just inside Arsenal's half. Would have been quite something...
72 mins. It's getting towards that time where Arsenal fans worldwide are saying to themselves "make something work, Arsenal."
70 mins. Bradley Barcola comes on for PSG to replace the goal-scorer Ousmane Dembele.
62 mins. Mikel Merino is forced to bring Doue to the ground after some fancy footwork from the PSG forward. He's having fun out there tonight, much to the dismay of Arsenal fans.
56 mins. Brilliant, world-class run from Declan Rice who puts it on a plate for Leandro Trossard. Attempts the right shot, but Donnarumma comes up with another brilliant save.
50 mins. Goal is ruled out for offside.
49 mins. VAR is still checking. A long check, this one.
48 mins. VAR is checking for a potential offside.
47 mins. POTENTIAL GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Declan Rice whips in a mean free kick, met by Mikel Merino who finds the back of the net. Lifeline for the Gunners perhaps, COME ON!
46 mins. Yellow card for Joao Neves.
46 mins. We're back underway.
First Half
45+1 mins. Half time whistle is blown at the wrong time for Arsenal, who turned on the switch towards the end of the first half. Referee is the man of the match so far...
45 mins. Gabriel Martinelli should have scored, one-on-one with Donnarumma who saves the curled attempt.
44 mins. Yellow card for Achraf Hakimi. That must have been tough for the refree to finally give a yellow card to his beloved PSG.
43 mins. Yellow card for Saka after kicking the ball away. He's visibly angry, but he has a point, Saka didn't foul him at all.
41 mins. Half chance from Trossard with an improvised scorpion kick. Didn't trouble Donnarumma, but it came to Trossard awkwardly, in fairness.
40 mins. A cross from Saka almost finds Martinelli at the far post. His leg was stretched far enough to get cramp, but couldn't quite get a toe on it. More positive signs, at least.
37 mins. Mikel Merino goes to the ground, the referee says no to the penalty. Right decision, in hindsight. Ugh.
31 mins. David Raya makes a brilliant save from Doué and the rebound from Ruiz (offside, anyway) hits the post. Get a grip, Arsenal...
27 mins. Wasteful from Trossard, who gifts the ball to Donnarumma rather than finding a relatively easy pass in the PSG box.
26 mins. An attempt from Kvaratskhelia, who has been the most dangerous player tonight. Thankfully, it took a deflection to soften the power of the shot and David Raya is able to collect.
24 mins. Indirect free kick taken by Odegaard, who meets the head of Kiwior. Kiwior's header didn't trouble Donnarumma.
23 mins. I'm struggling to decipher the Arsenal game plan here. They're just throwing boots at the ball in the PSG box, on the rare occasion it's in there. A frustraing watch so far.
16 mins. Penalty appeal from Kvaratskhelia after going down in the box. It's not as easy as that, get up, and return to diving school tomorrow.
15 mins. 67% possession from PSG so far, which is quite telling of how the opening 15 have gone. Arsenal on the back-foot for most of this game so far.
14 mins. Marquinho with an opportunity, but he headed straight at Raya. Do something, Arsenal!
13 mins. Good defending from Timber out wide, he prevented Kvaratskhelia from playing a ball into his teammates. Corner taken short from PSG, which comes to nothing.
10 mins. Yellow card for Trossard, which was incredibly soft. The Belgian prevented a counterattack, but it wasn't high stakes at all. Referee has set the standard now, unfortunately...
9 mins. First bit of fluency from Arsenal as Martinelli forces a corner out left, ricocheting the ball off Marquinhos.
4 mins. Arsenal were completely outdone by a first-time Ousmane Dembele shot with his left foot. David Raya was left with little to do as the ball trickled into the far post. The worst possible start...
4 mins. Goal for PSG, scored by Ousmane Dembele.
1 min. AND IT'S LIVE!
Declan Rice: If we don't have the ball, we die
An interesting moment in the buildup to this game, where Arsenal players were huddled in a circle. Amazon Prime zoomed in on Declan Rice, where he appeared to tell his teammates "if we don't have the ball, we die."
This not only shows exceptional leadership from Decs, but also that Arsenal will approach this game with intensity, and that they will press PSG off the ball.
Theo Walcott has brought his boots
Amazon Prime Video providing the expert coverage, and having fun with it.
Theo Walcott has made himself available to Mikel Arteta (Arsenal fans, who's cutting onions?). He took the words of advice from his former captain to bring his boots, and we certainly wouldn't mind seeing a young Theo running down the wing again!

The last Arsenal lineup in a Champions League semifinal
Interesting look here into the last Arsenal team to make a Champions League semifinal. Comparing the two teams, only Cesc, van Persie and Kolo Toure (due to Gabriel's injury) make the current team. Sagna would have a shot, but given the form Timber is in, it's hard to say there.
The nostalgia 😮💨

Confirmed PSG lineup vs Arsenal
Surprise, surprise. PSG has also fielded a strong lineup, one that has served them well with their recent form. We highlighted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as the PSG player to watch and unsurprisingly, he's front and centre of his star-studded team.
Full PSG lineup vs Arsenal: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia
Confirmed Arsenal lineup vs PSG
The lineups are in, and unsurprisingly, Arsenal has gone full strength (from what's available). Thomas Partey is missing from the team due to suspension, while key injuries render Kai Havertz and Gabriel Magalhaes among the expected absentees.
No real surprises here, and we can only assume that Declan Rice and Mikel Merino will drop deeper than they have been over the last few months to facilitate Partey's suspension.
Full Arsenal lineup vs PSG: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Merino, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard
