Arsenal host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Sunday in a game that looks to be crucial for their title hopes.

The Gunners' last game saw them win 1-0 against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, while their latest Premier League outing was a dismal 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth. Despite the result, Arsenal remain third in the table.

As the Gunners prepare for a tough showdown, there are four key talking points ahead of this huge title clash.

1. Bouncing back

Arsenal had their unbeaten start to the season ended by Bournemouth in their last league game. Their first loss of the campaign has come three matchdays earlier than last season, a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle in November.

The Gunners lost five games last season, and that ultimately cost them as they fell short in the title race once again. Arteta's side does not have much more room for error if they want to remain in with a shout of winning the league.

As a result, it is imperative that Arsenal bounce back with a win in this early title clash against Liverpool in order to stay in the race and kickstart another unbeaten run. The Gunners must be winning games like this if they want to continue competing at the top.
