Incomings

Kepa Arrizabalaga: With the departure of Aaron Ramsdale last summer and Neto's uneventful loan spell, Arsenal were in need of a new backup goalkeeper. After failed attempts to sign Joan Garcia from Espanyol, they turned to Chelsea shotstopper Kepa, who they signed for just £5m.

Martin Zubimendi: There had been rumours a deal had been agreed for the midfielder as early as January, but no fan was going to believe it until it was true. The Gunners finally got their man however and he has enjoyed a good start to life in north London.

Christian Norgaard: Many frowned on this addition due to the lack of spectacle surrounding Norgaard's signing. However, he joined for a £10m fee as a useful backup option with plenty of Premier League experience.

Noni Madueke: A controversial signing from London rivals Chelsea, supporters weren't keen on the idea of bringing the winger across the capital. His usefulness has already been proved though following Bukayo Saka's recent injury. Spending £48m was slightly bizarre however.

Cristhian Mosquera: Brought in to enhance the depth of quality in defence, the young Spaniard joined for under £20m and may prove to be a very good investment for Arsenal.

Viktor Gyokeres: This had to be the summer where the Gunners finally signed a striker and they did just that. Following plenty of back-and-forths with Sporting, Berta secured an initial £55m deal for the Sweden international, who is already looking to make a statement in the famous red and white.

Eberechi Eze: Snatched under the noses of arch-rivals Tottenham, the versatile attacker joined from Crystal Palace in a sensational £60m deal. He was handed the club's famous number 10 shirt and has been tipped to achieve great things in north London.

Piero Hincapie: A late addition, the Ecuadorian signed from Bayer Leverkusen on deadline day. He has joined Arsenal on an initial loan, but his new side do hold an option to make the deal permanent for £45m.

Jorginho: With his contract expiring at the start of the summer, he agreed an early termination to join Brazilian side Flamengo.

Nuno Tavares: Having spent last season on loan at Lazio, his move was made permanent by the Italian side early in the summer. The Gunners hold a 25% sell-on clause in move he makes away from the capital.

Marquinhos: His uneventful time with the club came to an end after his loan spell with Cruzeiro in his native Brazil was made permanent for £3m.

Kieran Tierney: The end of his Arsenal deal brought an end to his six-year stay in north London. He later returned to his boyhood club Celtic on a free transfer.

Thomas Partey: He left at the end of his contract and subsequently joined Villarreal.

Takehiro Tomiyasu: His departure was unexpected by many, but the club reached an agreement to end his contract early following his persistent injury issues over recent seasons. He remains a free agent.

Karl Hein: Tipped to leave the Gunners throughout most of the window, he secured a loan move to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in late August.

Albert Sambi Lokonga: He joined Arsenal as a promising young talent, but his time at the club did not live up to expectation as he made several temporary moves away following a mixed first season. He joined Hamburg permanently on deadline day.

Fabio Vieira: With hopes of reigniting his prosperous career, the Portuguese midfielder followed Lokonga to Hamburg, signing on a season-long loan.

Jakub Kiwior: A departure that not many fans wanted, Kiwior left the Gunners for Porto on the window's final day. He joined the club on an initial loan deal, but there is an obligation to make it permanent for around £15m.

Oleksandr Zinchenko: Despite reports he was set to stay in north London, he secured a year-long loan to Nottingham Forest in the final moments of deadline day.

Reiss Nelson: He had been reported to be joining Brentford throughout most of deadline day, but no confirmation came until late on Monday evening. The Hale End graduate has joined the Bees on loan, but they can sign him permanently at the end of the deal.
