Upon the confirmation of his signing, Kepa Arrizabalaga has become the 10th player to move from Chelsea to Arsenal since the inception of Premier League.
The Spaniard becomes the second goalkeeper to cross the London divide, following in the footsteps of Petr Cech while also being the fourth player to move from the west to the north in as many seasons.
The Gunners have made a habit of signing players from their capital rivals in recent years and links to Noni Madueke suggest that it may not end just yet. Regardless, Kepa is now officially an Gunner, but how have the other players who have swapped the blue of Chelsea for the red and white of Arsenal fared?
Every player to move from Chelsea to Arsenal in the Premier League era - ranked
9. Willian (signed in 2020)

Willian had a very successful career with Chelsea, spending seven years in west London and winning five trophies during his time there. However, he couldn't replicate this upon his move to Arsenal in 2020.
The ex-Brazil international spent just a sole season with the Gunners and scored just one goal and provided seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
He impressed on his debut, assisting twice in a 3-0 win against Fulham, but it was a huge failure from there on. His only goal came as a late free kick late on in a 3-1 home victory over West Bromwich Albion.
His time in north London came to an end just a year after it began when his contract was prematurely terminated, allowing him to return to boyhood club Corinthians on a free transfer.
8. Raheem Sterling (signed in 2024)

"You're about to see the best of me" were the words Raheem Sterling uttered upon sealing a deadline day loan move to Arsenal from the Blues last summer. He has since returned to Chelsea and we are all waiting to see the best of him.
The former Manchester City winger was essentially an emergency signing as the Gunners knew they needed cover in the wide areas and left it until the window's last minute.
He scored just once and assisted five times in 28 appearances in all competitions. His sole time finding the back of the net came in a Carabao Cup third round win over Bolton Wanderers.
There were rare glimpses of his ability, but Sterling never really got going in north London. It's safe to say it really wasn't a signing that worked out well.
7. Lassana Diarra (signed in 2007)

Another deadline day signing, Lassana Diarra joined Arsenal in 2007 after spending two seasons with Chelsea.
His move coincided with the emergence of fellow Frenchman Mathieu Flamini as a key part of the midfield, meaning he found minutes hard to come by.
Diarra made just 12 appearances for the Gunners in the first half of the season and after announcing he wanted to leave, he signed for Portsmouth in the January transfer window, bringing an end to a short and forgettable spell.
6. William Gallas (signed in 2006)

William Gallas swapped Chelsea for Arsenal in 2006 and spent four seasons in north London, a spell that didn't go without controversy.
His signing began bizarrely when Arsene Wenger made the odd choice to hand Gallas the number 10 shirt, recently vacated following the retirement of the legendary Dennis Bergkamp.
He was named club captain ahead of the 2007/08 season, a decision that was criticised due to expectations Gilberto Silva would be handed the armband. Gallas attracted further criticism for his actions in a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City, sitting on the pitch to sulk following the full time whistle.
The Frenchman was stripped of the captaincy after he gave an interview in which he revealed tensions in the squad criticised his younger teammates, but he still remained at Arsenal until 2010. He eventually left to join rivals Tottenham on a free transfer.
5. Yossi Benayoun (signed in 2011)

Having been given limited chances at Chelsea, Israel captain Yossi Benayoun joined Arsenal on loan for the 2011/12 season.
He had a decent spell with the Gunners, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.
Benayoun was even given the opportunity to captain Arsenal, wearing the armband in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the League Cup. He scored in his temporary side's final day 3-2 win over West Brom, meaning they finished third ahead of rivals Tottenham.
4. David Luiz (signed in 2019)

David Luiz joined Arsenal from Chelsea for an £8m fee in the summer of 2019 and his spell in north London was mixed to say the least.
He settled straight into the defence, and remained a central figure in the backline throughout the transition from Unai Emery to Mikel Arteta.
The Brazilian played a key part in the Gunners FA Cup triumph at the end of his debut season, but did face sendings off against former club Chelsea and Manchester City during the league campaign.
He spent a further year with Arsenal, but was plagued by injuries and ultimately left the club on a free transfer in 2021.
3. Jorginho (signed in 2023)

Following a failed pursuit for Moises Caicedo amid a first title challenge under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal signed Jorginho from Chelsea for £12m in the January 2023 transfer window.
With a wealth of experience, he became a key squad member for the Gunners and was often relied on to lead the team as captain as part of the leadership group.
Jorginho frequently stepped into the side in place of Thomas Partey and Declan Rice and managed consistent performances whenever given the opportunity.
He left the Gunners upon the expiry of his contract at the end of last season and is now playing for Brazilian side Flamengo.
2. Petr Cech (signed in 2015)

Petr Cech joined Arsenal as a serial winner for £10m following a hugely successful spell at Chelsea. Coinciding with the loan departure of Wojciech Szczesny, he immediately became the Gunners' number one goalkeeper.
He impressed in his debut campaign, winning the Premier League Golden Glove award after keeping 16 clean sheets to help Arsenal finish second behind miracle title-winners Leicester City.
The shotstopper remained the Gunners' first choice for the next two seasons, winning an FA Cup in that period, but an injury in the opening months of Unai Emery's tenure saw him lose his spot to Bernd Leno.
Despite being usurped, Cech continued to feature in Arsenal's Europa League fixtures, starting the 4-1 loss to former club Chelsea in the final. That proved to be his final game as a footballer as he retired at the end of the 2018/19 season. He kept 54 clean sheets in 139 appearances for the Gunners.
1. Kai Havertz (signed in 2023)

Kai Havertz brought an end to a three-year period at Chelsea in which he won the Champions League with a £65m move to Arsenal in the 2023 summer transfer window.
He initially struggled to settle in north London, but found brilliant form in the second half of the season as he helped his side take Manchester City to the wire in the title race.
His second campaign with the Gunners was less successful as he suffered a season-ending injury in February, but did manage to return for the final two games. He still finished 2024/25 as his side's top goalscorer, with 15 in all competitions.
The German's future at Arsenal could now be under threat however with his side heavily expected to sign a striker this summer, but he should be able to continue having some impact in the capital.
