West Ham are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira this summer, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Hammers have added the forgotten Gunner to their list of midfield options as they look to make multiple additions to the area during the transfer window.
Vieira has already been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, but it now looks like he could remain in the Premier League with one of his club's London rivals.

West Ham are yet to make an approach for Vieira, but he is now a name of interest to them, as per Ben Jacobs. Graham Potter could make an attempt to sign the midfielder in the coming weeks.
Serie A side Parma are another club who are said to be exploring a move for the former Portugal youth international. A move to Italy would see Vieira reunite with former Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta, who left the Gunners to take the reins at the Ennio Tardini Stadium earlier this summer.
There has been little development in Parma's interest since it was first reported in mid-July, but it could grow now West Ham are in the picture.
Arsenal are likely resigned to losing money on Vieira. He joined them for just under £30million from Porto ahead of the 2022/23 season, but largely failed to make an impact in north London.
He scored just three goals and assisted 10 in 49 appearances throughout his first two seasons with the Gunners before being shipped out on loan for the entirety of the previous campaign, returning to former club Porto.
Vieira enjoyed a decent time back in his home nation and that is likely what has prompted clubs to hold an interest. He clearly has talent, but for various reasons, he just hasn't been able to knuckle down a guaranteed spot in Arteta's squad.
The Gunners won't make an absolute fortune from selling Vieira and certainly won't make a profit, but with him being valued at around £20m, he should bring in a decent fee. Both the club and fans may now be hoping that with West Ham's interest being reported, Parma could also creep back up, meaning a bidding war could occur. With only two years remaining on his contract, Arsenal will know this will be their best chance to get a highest possible fee for him.
Whether it be a move to east London, northern Italy or somewhere in-between, Vieira is likely to leave Arsenal this summer and that will bring an end to a largely uneventful three-year spell with the club.
