Full list of Arsenal transfer targets for the 2026 summer window

Arsenal head into the 2026 summer transfer window as Premier League champions, but also as a side still eager to bolster their quality and depth to the maximum.

The Gunners secured the top flight crown for the first time in 22 years and also went agonisingly close to winning a maiden Champions League title, but fell to Paris Saint-Germain in a penalty shootout. Despite their success, multiple reports suggest Mikel Arteta is keen to make further improvements to the squad he currently has at his disposal.

With multiple incomings likely on the horizon, there will of course be a number of players who could depart in what will be a transfer merry-go-round that will help Arsenal go one step further from being sole season champions to consistent victors on all fronts.

It's still early doors, especially with the World Cup only just getting underway, but Arteta and his recruitment team will have a number of high-profile names on their hit list with the window now open.

Here's a full list of the Gunners' transfer targets for the 2026 summer window.

Christos Tzolis

The main position Arsenal seem focused on improving this summer is the left wing with Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis a name high among the targets.

News broke on Friday night that the Gunners were exploring a deal to sign the Greek winger, who is expected to be allowed to leave the Belgian side for a fee close to £35million.

Having scored 43 goals and provided 45 assists in 108 appearances for the Pro League champions since joining ahead of the 2024/25 season, he could be the direct output and high quality option Arteta badly needs on the left flank.

Julián Alvarez

A name that's floated on Arsenal's wishlist since before his Manchester City departure in 2024, Julián Alvarez is still high in demand at the Emirates.

However, the World Cup winner is more of a dream target for the Gunners given Atlético Madrid's stubborn stance on a potential sale. Diego Simeone's side have openly mocked both Barcelona and capital city rivals Real Madrid on social media in recent weeks after the pair's attempts to secure Alvarez's signature.

There is a possibility for the Argentine to leave if he is unhappy at the Metropolitano, but it would almost certainly take a gargantuan fee for Arsenal to pry him away from Atlético. Nevertheless, he remains on the list.

Jeremy Monga

Arsenal are currently working on a deal to sign 16-year-old Jeremy Monga from recently relegated League One side Leicester City.

The prospect broke onto the scene when the Foxes were still in the Premier League just a season ago, making seven appearances after making his debut to become the second youngest player in the competition's history, behind Ethan Nwaneri.

He proved to be an important asset to his side last campaign, but couldn't help them avoid relegation as he scored one goal in 30 appearances across all competitions.

With the East Midlands outfit now set for a spell in the third division, Monga is ready to move on and personal terms aren't expected to be an issue for the Gunners, but striking an agreement with Leicester has potential to be difficult.

If a deal is struck after his 17th birthday on 10 July, Arteta's side will need to pay a fee, but there's still a possibility he could be the first arrival through the door this summer.

Eli Junior Kroupi

Eli Junior Kroupi, an outside hero in Arsenal's Premier League title triumph, is yet another player who could be on his way to the red half of North London this summer.

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the Frenchman for some time and he is already well liked among supporters after he struck against Manchester City to help hand his potential new club the title on 19 May.

While he is a great talent on Arsenal's list of targets, Bournemouth are firm in their stance that Kroupi is not for sale and the Cherries have reportedly communicated to the player that they feel he could benefit from spending another season on the South Coast, while also playing European football.

Morgan Rogers

Shortly after the Premier League season came to a close, it was revealed that the Gunners are considered to be a 'serious contender' to sign Morgan Rogers as they target a potential move for him this summer.

The England international has enjoyed a brilliant time with Aston Villa, qualifying for the Champions League twice and winning the Europa League, but an outgoing looks very possible this summer despite the reluctance to let him leave from Unai Emery's side.

Reports and rumours suggest he would prefer a move to the red half of North London, but the latest news has revealed it could take a bid of around £100m to take Rogers away from Villa Park.

Bradley Barcola

As Arsenal look to improve their left wing options, Bradley Barcola is another candidate to fill that role.

The Gunners appreciate the Paris Saint-Germain star, who came off the bench in the Champions League final defeat to the Ligue 1 champions, but will face competition from other clubs such as Liverpool.

PSG ideally want to keep hold of Barcola, but if Arteta's side make a good offer, they could be in with a good chance of securing the deal. He has already shown his talent at the World Cup, scoring in France's 3-1 win over Senegal.

Sandro Tonali

After rumours of a deadline day bid in the winter window were shut down, Arsenal have renewed their interest in Sandro Tonali in the summer market.

Arteta is said to have long been an admirer of the Italian and he would be a great addition as the Spaniard looks to add another midfielder to his ranks. However, his contract with Newcastle runs until 2029, with an option for an extra year, meaning any deal would be very expensive.

North London rivals Tottenham are also in talks to sign Tonali so the Gunners will certainly face plenty of competition for his signature.

Alex Scott

Alex Scott is another name reported to be on Arsenal's list of potential midfield targets and he could be set for a move away from Bournemouth following a brilliant season at Dean Court.

The midfielder was crucial in the Cherries' run to a sixth place finish and securing qualification for the Europa League so it is no surprise he has attracted interest.

Arteta's side could go to battle with Manchester United for Scott's signature, but if they can come out on top to win the transfer war, he would be an outstanding addition.

Ayyoub Bouaddi

Ayyoub Bouaddi has attracted headlines in recent days after a top quality performance against Brazil that saw him help his country Morocco stun the South American giants with a 1-1 draw in their group opener.

The Gunners are reportedly interested in a potential move for the 18-year-old midfielder, who already had plenty of clubs keeping tabs on his situation prior to the World Cup.

Arsenal have held initial talks with Lille, who value him at around £70m, but will have to act quick if they want to successfully fight off competition in the battle for Bouaddi's signature.

Elijah Upson

Elijah Upson, son of former Arsenal and England defender Matthew Upson, could be set for a move across North London this summer.

He is currently playing in Tottenham's academy, but with his contract set to expire at the end of this month, he could leave for his current side's arch-rivals.

Emmanuel Mbemba

Young PSG defender Emmanuel Mbemba is another defensive prospect that has been discussed internally.

The left-sided defender's deal runs out this summer and he will be able to leave the French capital for a nominal fee, but it is currently unclear if Arsenal are prepared to meet his salary demands.
