Arsenal cruised to victory against ten-man Ipswich Town, as they secured a 4-0 win to take another step towards securing a spot in next season's Champions League.
Many expected Mikel Arteta to rotate his side for their trip to East Anglia but he opted to go strong with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice remaining in the starting XI. Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko were two of the names to come in, taking up residence on either flank of defence.
The Gunners started the game strong and their first chance came just six minutes in when some nice passing play between Saka and Odegaard ended in Leandro Trossard having a shot blocked from the centre of the box.
The Tractor Boys did cause problems for Arsenal but the visitors' dominance paid off just before the 15 minute mark when a swift break ended with the same linkup for their first chance completing the move. Odegaard's loose touch found its way to Trossard who managed to get a shot away while falling under pressure, beating Alex Palmer in the Ipswich goal.
Arsenal continued to control the game, troubling the hosts' backline and they broke through once again following a brilliant move. Saka raced onto a lofted pass before playing a low ball into Mikel Merino who flicked it in on expertly for Gabriel Martinelli to tap in from close range. Leif Davis was given his marching orders soon after, taking Saka out with a rash challenge, meaning his side went into the break two goals and a man down.
In command at the interval.

Arteta's side sustained the odd bit of pressure from the hosts following the break but they continued to dominate the tie for the most part. They managed to add to their advantage with 20 minutes to play when a short corner routine resulted in Rice playing a neat pass into Trossard who turned before placing an effort into the far corner.
Hale End striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji profited from his side's dominance to be handed his Premier League debut and almost grabbed a maiden goal, seeing an effort tipped over the bar by Palmer. The shotstopper couldn't keep the next one out however as another corner routine saw substitute Ethan Nwaneri strike a deflected effort into the back of the net.
Arsenal saw out the closing minutes to secure a dominant 4-0 victory at Portman Road and put themselves seven points clear of third-placed Newcastle in their bid to seal Champions League football for next season, as well as halting Liverpool's title party for another gameweek.
Here are the Arsenal player ratings from their brilliant win away to Ipswich.
Ipswich 0-4 Arsenal player ratings

Goalkeeper & Defenders
David Raya (GK) - 6.5/10 - Played the sweeper keeper role well but that was all he really had to do. Didn't face much trouble due to Ipswich's lack of threat.
Ben White (RB) - 7/10 - Got up the pitch well amid a lack of danger to defend against. Helped out in attack and played a lofted ball for Saka to run onto ahead of the second goal. Put some troubling balls into the hosts' area.
William Saliba (CB) - 6.5/10 - Solid at the back as always but didn't have much to do. Took the chance to come a bit higher up the pitch and play some forward passes for his teammates.
Jakub Kiwior (CB) - 6.5/10 - Like his partner, didn't have much defending to do but did what was required. Good at the back once again.
Oleksandr Zinchenko (LB) - 7/10 - Played the inverted role well and managed to play some nice passes into the box. Combined with Martinelli and Merino on a number of occasions.
