It is not every day you are able to link Kylian Mbappe and Arsenal in a sentence. The last time this happened was probably when Arsenal beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals last time around.
This time, it is different. Arsenal and Real Madrid have yet to face each other this season - if they do at all - and it will be a fun match to see after the improvements both teams have made to start the season.
However, recently, Mbappe was asked about the Premier League, which is not something you see quite often. He was asked about his Premier League predictions for this season, to which he gave an answer that will please Arsenal fans to their absolute core.
He has basically said he wants Arsenal to win the league.

He said: “I also have high hopes for Arsenal, because the core of the team has known each other for a long time and that’s a crucial factor in football. That’s tough [to pick one] - maybe Arsenal, maybe it will be their year.”
"It will certainly be easier to say Manchester City or Liverpool," he continued.
I guess that last part does not matter much. He just means to say - probably, anyway - that it would be an easy cop out if he had just said Manchester City or Liverpool, so he would have to go a bit bolder for his answer.
And, it is not just about being bold. Mbappe has literally said that he has high hopes for this Arsenal side, and gave his reasoning behind it, too.
He is not wrong, not in the slightest. Arsenal have built this team brick by brick every season, but their absolute core has been together for a few years. They have learned each other's style of play, and it is good to see the harmony in this squad.
That is essentially what Mbappe wants to do at Real Madrid, too, which is why he understands how important all of this is.
Arsenal are certainly among the favorites to finally win it this season. I mean, they have been favorites for a few years, but this time, it feels different.
They have addressed almost all their needs in the transfer market, and everyone at the club realises that now is the time for them to prove they can win things.
It will be interesting to see how it unfolds - whether Mbappe is right or wrong.
