Arsenal are back in Premier League action at Saturday lunchtime as they travel to the relegation-threatened Leicester.
The Gunners were beaten 2-0 at Newcastle in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final last time out before jetting off to Dubai for a warm-weather refresh. The trip proved season-defining last year, igniting an imperious winning run, but Mikel Arteta's side have their work cut out if they're to enjoy similar production this time around.
Since Arsenal's last outing, they've lost two more forwards to hamstring injuries and down to the bare bones in attack.
However, the squad should be bouyed by Wednesday's thrilling Merseyside Derby which saw Liverpool only extend their lead at the summit by an extra point. Victory at the King Power this weekend will cut their advantage to four points before the Reds face Wolves at Anfield.
The Gunners are facing a Leicester team that looks like to return to the second tier. Dr. Tottenham ended their lengthy losing streak a few weeks back, but they were battered at Everton on their previous Premier League outing and are two points adrift of safety in 18th. Even Manchester United beat them in the FA Cup last Friday.

Leicester team news
Jamie Vardy, who's tormented Arsenal in the past, has proven this season that he can still provide at the highest level, but the veteran striker is a doubt for Saturday's game. Leicester are also without Abdul Fatawu in attack.
Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen are both dealing with knocks which could keep them out this weekend, while Ricardo Pereira isn't expected to return until later this month with a thigh injury.
Van Nistelrooy recently welcomed goalkeeper Mads Hermansen back to the fold after a spell out, and the Dane was superb in the reverse fixture despite conceding four.
Predicted Leicester lineup vs Arsenal: Hermansen; Justin, Okoli, Faes, Thomas; Ndidi, Soumare; Decordova-Reid, El Khannouss, Ayew; Vardy.
Arsenal team news
It's been a tough week for the Gunners on the injury front. After learning that Gabriel Martinelli will spend a month on the sidelines with the hamstring niggle he picked up on Tyneside, Havertz tore his hammy out in Dubai and will miss the rest of the season.
With Bukayo Saka out for at least another month and Gabriel Jesus potentially not playing again in 2025, Arteta only has Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling, and Ethan Nwaneri to call upon in attack.
On a more positive note, Ben White could make his first appearance since November on Saturday, and there are no fresh concerns in defence or midfield. Takehiro Tomiyasu continues to be sidelined with an ongoing knee issue, and surgery may be required.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Leicester: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Nwaneri, Trossard, Sterling.
Leicester vs Arsenal score prediction
Arsenal will be leaning on his team's sturdiness over the next month, but I suspect the Spaniard will eventually get creative in regards to his attacking configuration up top in a bid to mitigate numerous absences.
However, the Gunners don't need to opt for unorthodoxy this weekend. Competence will get them over the line against a poor Leicester team. A steady defensive showing combined with overwhelming midfield power should be enough to facilitate the one or two moments in attack they require to snag all three points.
