Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has finally answered the questions about the club's potential quadruple run, and he has answered it in the best possible way.

Arsenal are currently in the best spot they ahve been in a very, very long time. They are at the top of the Premier League table with just 10 games to go. They have reached the final of the Carabao Cup, where they will face Manchester City in March.

They are also advancing well in the FA Cup, and a strong run in that competition is also expected. In the Champions League, they finished at the top of the league phase, and now fce Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 tie in March.

So, in a broad spectrum, things are looking better than they have in more than a decade, and even then, the Gunners were not as consistent in every competition the way they are right now.

Mikel Arteta finally answered the quadruple question that's on everyone's lips

So, the inevitable question about winning the quadruple will obviously cross people's minds, and that is what has happened with a journalist, who came forward with a question about the topic, and Arteta gave the perfect response to them.

He said: "Has it been done? That's how difficult it is. Let’s go game by game, let's try to earn the right to continue to be there until the last stage of every competition, and then we'll see what happens.

"[I don't focus on thinking about] the outcome, not so much. I focus a lot on what we have to do to continue in the manner and the trajectory that we are as a team, and from there, obviously, try to improve it."

That is what he is there for. Arteta is there for helping the team and improving them as much as humanly possible. He wants them to succeed and he wants to build a platform for these players to be the best versions of themselves in order to achieve what they want to achieve.

Thinking about the quadruple, or whatever the prospects are of that happening, is something that top managers would never discuss. It is not worth discussing. Going so far into the future, knowing fully well what can happen in a game of football just does not make sense, and that is why Arteta is steering clear of it.

It will obviously be a great way to end the season if they were to win all the trophies, but it is not something that these players would want to think, because of the added pressure that comes with it.

Arsenal are doing well, and that is what they need to focus on, game after game.
