There are a lot of things going Arsenal's way at the moment.
They have had a good transfer window where they have addressed most if not all of their issues.
They also have been the best defensive side in all of Europe, conceding little to no goals in their season so far.
They are also at the top of the Premier League and Champions League tables, and have won both of their cup matches so far.
So, in short, life is good for all Arsenal fans - and they deserve it.
However, there are still things in this squad that need fixing. Arsenal addressed their striker issue - finally - when they signed Victor Gyokeres from Sporting over the summer.
However, he is injured at the moment, and so are both of his back-up options. Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have been injured all this time, and are only going to return after the international break.
I mean, that is basically here, but despite having three strikers, they are forced to play Mikel Merino up top on occasion.
Arsenal need a back-up goalscorer - desperately
It is also worth mentioning that neither of the two strikers are natural goalscorers. Gabriel Jesus has always been more about linking up with his teammates and his technical skills to get past tight spaces than actually scoring. Havertz, is a different mould but of the same characteristics.
And sometimes, Arsenal just miss having that back-up striker option who can help score goals off the bench.
Now, though, there is one name that has been floating around for a few months now. Atalanta's Ademola Lookman, who has been one of the best goalscorers in Serie A for the last two seasons, is looking for a move, and it would make a lot of sense for Arsenal to get it.
Keep in mind, it won't make complete sense, but the idea is there for Arteta to think about.
At the moment, their biggest flaw is scoring off the bench and having a left winger who can score goals when need be. Lookman, at least in the short term, can provide solutions to both of these things.
Lookman is a natural left-winger, and has shifted to a second-striker role as his career has gone on, making him a great fit for Arteta's side.
The only problem is that they already have a lot of forwards at the moment. Havertz, Jesus, Leandro Trossard, and even Gabriel Martinelli at times - all of them have to sometimes come off the bench to get minutes. If you add Lookman into the mix, it would make it clear that someone would have to leave.
Lookman would be open to a move in 2026 - whether that is in the winter transfer window or next summer - and it would make sense for Arsenal as long as there are a couple of departures in attack.
That left-wing spot, if Eberechi Eze is to become a full-time winger, could also see a big improvement if you add Lookman to the picture. And, he can also play well at the striker spot if you remove one striker and add the Atalanta star there.
