Bukayo Saka will not face Everton this weekend. The England international winger started for Arsenal in midweek against Bayern Munich, but he lasted only 10 minutes before he was hooked off, with Eberechi Eze coming on to replace him.

What injury does Bukayo Saka have?

Bukayo Saka has suffered a quad injury. He went down after a non-contact injury at the Allianz Arena in midweek, with Arteta opting to bring on Eberechi Eze instead.

Saka never used to be injury prone, but over the last few seasons, fans are seeing him on the treatment table more often. Many point the finger at Mikel Arteta for running him into the ground as a youngster, but these are simply the standards you are asked to meet when playing in an Arteta team.

Will Bukayo Saka play for Arsenal vs Everton?

While Bukayo Saka has not yet been given a return date, Arteta's latest update provided no confidence for Arsenal fans.

Speaking in the pre-Everton press conference, Mikel Arteta said that Saka has "another MRI this afternoon." Apparently, there was a lot of fluid in the area, so it was hard for the medical team to diagnose. Saka will need a few more scans before any concrete return date can be finalised.

Who could replace Bukayo Saka at Arsenal?

The likeliest option is Noni Madueke. He is often Arsenal's go-to when it comes to replacing Bukayo Saka out on the right, since he suits this side more than Eberechi Eze, who will likely play on the left.

Madueke is arguably a greater left-winger than he is a right-winger, but he is a team player. He will more than happily step in to help Arsenal out on the right.

Alternatively, Arsenal have Max Dowman who they can call on. Arteta is insistent on being careful with his usage of Dowman, but there will be more opportunities for the England youth international to play for the Gunners with Saka out injured.

Is Bukayo Saka available for Fantasy Football?

If you have Bukayo Saka in your Fantasy Football team, it is best to sell him due to the pessimistic and uncertain nature of his injury.

Other Arsenal alternatives include Martin Odegaard in the midfield. As a creative player, he always has the potential to bag goal return points. Alternatively, Declan Rice is an underrated asset for assists, as well as bonus points.
