Arsenal fans must be on cloud nine at the moment.
It is not just the fact that they are one of the best teams in the world, if not the best. It is also not just the fact that they are the most defensively astute team in world football.
It is also not just that their squad is basically complete, with multiple brilliant players for nearly all positions.
What adds to their joy is knowing that they are definitely better than their biggest rivals.
Tottenham Hotspur are better than they were last season - yes, even though they won a trophy - but despite their efforts, the gap between them and Arsenal is not getting any narrower.
If Tottenham have improved from last season, then so have Arsenal, and that is another reason why Arsenal fans are so happy.
The two teams face off in the North London derby on Sunday, with a lot at stake for both teams.
Obviously, in a rivalry like this, there are a lot of things that come into play. It is not just the form or level of the two teams. There are a lot of other factors, and form sometimes becomes secondary.
Even Tottenham's own legends feel like this might be a win written in the stars for their rivals
Former Spurs player Jermaine Jones, on a podcast, talked about the derby and what he thinks will happen.
He said: "You’ve got North London Derby, which I fully expect Arsenal to win, unfortunately.
“I just think, look, Spurs are better away from home at the minute, currently, and I think they could cause Arsenal a few issues. But I just don’t think they’re playing well enough.”
He has a point. Spurs are better away from home at the moment, but Arsenal are also really good.
It would be tough for Spurs to get three points at the Emirates Stadium no less, despite the fact that many of their points have come away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It is also worth noting that Arsenal have a lot of players returning for this fixture. Victor Gyokeres, Riccardo Calafiori and a few others - all of them have chances to be available against Tottenham on Sunday.
The biggest loss for Arsenal is definitely Gabriel, but the depth they have at centre-back, I am sure they will be able to manage just fine without him.
In short, it will be tough for Tottenham to get a win at Arsenal. Jermaine Jones certainly believes so.
