Gabriel Jesus (loser)

Gabriel Jesus struggled to get into the team enough in 2023/24, let alone with another player introduced to the mix in 2024/25. The only silver lining for Gabriel Jesus with Arsenal interested in Williams is that Williams does not play as a centre forward, which was the original position occupied by Jesus.

However, it does heat up the competition for places out wide, which is arguably where Jesus produces his best work anyway.

Jurrien Timber (winner)

Nico Williams has proven, particularly at EURO 2024, that he is a winger who plays with plenty of intelligence. He bursts forward but only when it is beneficial to the side as a whole. He always has a protective eye on his full-back counterpart, which will benefit Jurrien Timber, who could play off the left next season.

Timber and Williams could certainly form a great relationship in a new-look left side for Arsenal next season. While trying not to jump the gun too much, this is an exciting thought for fans.
