Arsenal assets have proven to be an incredible investment in FPL. In the opening two gameweeks, Arsenal scored four goals from different scorers and they kept two clean sheets. That said, here are 3 Arsenal players to have in your FPL team for GW3.

In GW3, Arsenal come up against Brighton and Hove Albion at home. In usual circumstances, this would be a routine fixture. However, the Seagulls have had a bright start, winning their opening two fixtures.

That said, Arsenal are still the favourites in this fixture, particularly with the home advantage and Mikel Arteta being desperate to win the title this season.

So, without further ado, here are 3 Arsenal players you should have in your FPL team for GW3.

1. Leandro Trossard (£6.9m)

Kicking the list off with a differential, Leandro Trossard is certainly worth a punt in your FPL team. At just £6.9m, he is the easiest option to slot into your budget and at just 2.0% ownership, could ensure you climb the table.

Leandro Trossard did not start the two opening games for Arsenal. However, his performance from the bench against Aston Villa should ensure that the Belgian gets more minutes in the Brighton match.

It is worth noting that Trossard scored against Brighton last season. It is his former club, but there is no love lost there.

Trossard is a better option than Martinelli, who is unfortunately carrying his 2023/24 form into 2024/25. I will be throwing Trossard into my team.

2. Kai Havertz (£8.1m)

Kai Havertz has had an excellent start to the 2024/25 season, both from an Arsenal perspective and from an FPL perspective.

He scored a goal and provided an assist in GW1 and has a combined total of 14 points across the opening two gameweeks.

Since Arsenal have not signed a striker this season, Kai Havertz will be the centre forward option for the Gunners throughout the season. Therefore, he is a great option for Arsenal attacking returns.

At £8.1m, he is a great investment. Danny Welbeck and Erling Haaland are the only two forwards in the game who have scored more points than Havertz so far this season.

3. Bukayo Saka (£10.0m)

At £10.0m, Bukayo Saka is the most premium option out of any Arsenal player but for good reason. In fact, no Arsenal player has scored more FPL points than Bukayo Saka.

He is currently tied with David Raya on 18 points scored so far this season. However, given the fixtures which Arsenal have coming up, Raya is less likely to keep clean sheets.

Bukayo Saka is the second highest owned Arsenal player in FPL, with 34.1% of FPL managers having him in their teams. William Saliba is the highest owned, with 39.8% ownership.

Bukayo Saka scored and assisted in GW1, while providing an assist in GW2. Therefore, he has provided at least one attacking return in each fixture so far.

Given his early substitution against Aston Villa, he will be eager to add to his tally against Brighton.
