The 3 best Eddie Nketiah goals from his time at Arsenal
By Kian Long
Eddie Nketiah looks set to be on his way out of Arsenal. The Hale End graduate has dedicated many great years to Arsenal but unfortunately, has been second-fiddle for most of his time at the club.
It is the right decision for all parties involved if Eddie Nketiah leaves Arsenal. As things stand, he has agreed on personal terms to join Nottingham Forest, but now the East Midlands club are waiting on confirmation from Arsenal so they can wrap up the transfer.
Eddie Nketiah has been in the Arsenal first team since 2017. However, he is a boyhood Chelsea and Arsenal star. Thankfully, he made the switch from the unfortunate Chelsea academy to Arsenal as a youngster, which really set him up for a great career.
In 116 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, what are the 3 best Eddie Nketiah goals?

3. Completing the hat-trick against Sheffield United (2023)
At the time, Eddie Nketiah scoring a hat-trick against Sheffield United in the Premier League was viewed as a real momentum shift for his career. Scoring a Premier League hat-trick is not to be overlooked by any means, but it was the goal which completed the trio that stood out the most.
Eddie Nketiah was clearly flying with confidence that day, as just before the hour mark, he rifled a shot past Sheffield United keeper Wes Foderingham. As per FotMob, the shot had a mere 0.06 expected goal (xG) rating, but regardless, the ball was rifled into the roof of the net.
In terms of skill taken to produce the goal, this is Nketiah's best in an Arsenal shirt by far. However, the memories of the two above it make them stand out. Still, this goal was worth mentioning.
2. Pouncing on a Chelsea mistake at Stamford Bridge
Eddie Nketiah scoring against his boyhood club will certainly be up there in his favourite Arsenal memories. The London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal is always one to look out for, so for Arsenal to run rampant on enemy lines, it was a truly terrific day to be an Arsenal fan.
Looking back, this was probably Eddie's best performance in an Arsenal shirt. He scored two goals in this match, but we will put forward his first goal whereby he capitalised on a Christensen mistake, since we all love poking fun at Chelsea, right? The goal was not handed to him, though. He still had to slot home cooly in a one-on-one position, which he did spectacularly.
1. Scoring a late winner against Manchester United
The 2022/23 season was memorable for Arsenal for every reason except (unfortunately) winning the title. They came eagerly close, the closest they'd been in a long time.
In fairness to Eddie Nketiah, he played an exceptional role in this title charge. Even though it wasn't to be for Arsenal ultimately, Nketiah played his part in helping the Gunners.
During his most fruitful period for the Gunners, with Gabriel Jesus out injured, Nketiah stepped up to the mark. He had already scored in this match earlier on thanks to a brilliant header, but it was his improvised finishing and ability to stick a leg out at the right moment to secure an Arsenal win against Man United, late in the match.
This is, without a doubt, the most memorable Eddie Nketiah goal. He might leave this summer, but Arsenal fans will always harbour great memories of this goal.
