James Maddison vs Declan Rice
It's another interesting midfield battle but this time, it's between the two countrymen James Maddison and Declan Rice. Maddison is going through a dry patch as he is without a goal contribution in his last five Premier League games.
Maddison had a good display, annoyingly so, against Arsenal last time out. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me to see Mikel Arteta lockdown the attacking midfielder. Maddison was taken off early against Newcastle, despite being one of Tottenham's better performers (not a hard task, really). Therefore, it is likely Postecoglou has him in mind for this game.

It will not get any easier for Maddison, as he comes up against his England colleague Declan Rice. Rice has been one of Arsenal's best players this season and he was signed to perform in games as important as these. Rice will cover every blade of grass, like he always does, in the hopes of getting the better of Maddison.
