Positive #2: Ethan Nwaneri... at last!

Despite his inclusion in several matchday squads already this season, Ethan Nwaneri had not made a senior appearance since his debut against Brentford in the Premier League back in 2022, when he became the youngest ever Premier League player - at just 15 years old.

That changed today, however, with the now 16-year-old given 16 minutes from the bench to leave his mark on an already impressive performance, and the young midfielder did not fail to impress eagerly awaiting fans.

While he was unable to get on the scoresheet, as he would have no doubt been desperate to do, he looked completely composed on the ball and unfazed when challenged by players who were almost double his age.

It is clear that his involvement with the first team will be gradual under the watchful eye of Arteta, but the future is certainly bright for Nwaneri, with his cameo today such a good moment for the club.
