Arsenal face a tough test in the form of a trip to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon as they aim to preserve their title hopes.

The Gunners head into the game having beaten Bournemouth 3-0 at Emirates Stadium last week. This victory saw them stay one point clear of Manchester City at the top of the league but still with an extra game played than their title rivals. City also face Fulham before Arsenal's matchup with United so the amount of games played will be temporarily equal.

Despite it being a tough visit to a ground where they rarely win, Mikel Arteta's side will be looking to come away from Manchester with a positive result and there are three key talking points ahead of this showdown.

1. Must not underestimate United

Man Utd have been in very poor form lately and most recently lost 4-0 at Crystal Palace. However, this will not necessarily be a positive for Arsenal.

United have been in similar form in previous seasons when hosting the Gunners and have still been victorious. Arsenal have a poor recent record at Old Trafford having only won one in their last 16 Premier League games at the Theatre of Dreams.

Form does not often influence matches between rivals so there is a strong possibility that United could turn up. As a result, Arsenal must be weary and should be on their A game.
