Nobody likes watching Fabio Vieira come off the bench as a winger. However, the unfortunate reality is that this is the most likely Fabio Vieira is going to get with picking up minutes. After all, who else is he realistically going to replace, Odegaard or Rice? No chance.

So, with Reiss Nelson eliminated from the right-winger pecking order, this opens an opportunity for Fabio Vieira to get into the team. After all, Bukayo Saka is beginning to get a little more protection, with Arteta seeing the affordance in taking him off the pitch to rest him when the game is in Arsenal's favour.

It would be a loss for Arsenal fans to watch Vieira as a winger but a win for Vieira to contribute to the team a bit more. Anyway, it's not like Arsenal fans aren't used to seeing him out of position.
